Walk your building.
Get the floor plan.
Walkline uses the LiDAR scanner in your iPhone Pro to measure every wall, door and window as you walk, room by room. You get an accurate floor plan of every floor, and you can look around every spot later, like Street View.
Three steps, one walk
No tape measure, no drawing, no extra camera. Just the iPhone in your pocket.
1. Walk each room
Start in a doorway and walk slowly along the walls. Walkline finds the walls, doors, windows and furniture as you go.
2. Keep going, room to room
Scan the whole floor in one go and the rooms join up by themselves. Add more floors the same way.
3. Get the plan
A measured floor plan with every wall length and room area, ready to share as a PDF or open in CAD.
Everything from one scan
The first version measures and draws. More arrives build by build; anything marked "soon" is on its way.
Every measurement
Wall lengths, room areas, floor and building totals, in feet and inches or metres.
Doors, windows, furniture
Found automatically and drawn like an architect would. Hide the furniture for an empty-room plan.
Look around every spot soon
Photos and 360° views pinned to the plan. Tap a dot and look around, Street View style.
Inside and outside soon
Scan around the outside too. Every floor and the exterior join into one building on the map.
Export anywhere
PDF and 3D today; CAD, BIM and 3D formats like DXF, IFC and OBJ build by build.
Smart, on your iPhone
Rooms named from what's in them, corners squared up, gaps closed. All done on the phone.
Walk through it again, any time
While you scan, Walkline takes photos and pins each one to where you stood. Later, tap any spot on the plan and look around, then step to the next spot along the arrows, like Street View.
- Photos are taken automatically as you walk; tap "360° here" for a full look-around.
- Faces, licence plates, screens and paperwork are blurred on the phone.
- Inside and outside join into one building you can walk from the driveway to the back room.
Plan security cameras on the real building
Scan the outside, then place cameras on the actual eaves and walls. See exactly what each one covers, and where it can identify a face, before anyone climbs a ladder.
- Coverage zones (detect, recognise, identify) drawn on the ground and stopped by real walls.
- "What this camera sees" from the scanned building, and a live AR check on site.
- Cable lengths in 3D, PoE and recorder sizing, an equipment list and an install package.
- Any brand, with a filter for NDAA-restricted makers.
Private by design
Your scans, plans and photos stay on your iPhone. There's no account to make. A few optional features need our server, such as building a 3D model of the outside. Before any of them uploads a single photo, Walkline tells you exactly what's sent and why, and waits for you to choose.
Read the privacy policyExport to the tools you use
Plans and models in every format we can make, so they open in your CAD, BIM or 3D software.
PDF and USDZ in the first version; the rest arrive build by build.
Free for personal use
Map your own home, plan a renovation, measure for furniture: free, with no ads. If Walkline helps you, you can leave a tip in the app.
